‘Suspicious Partner’ Actor Ji Chang Wook Gains High Brand Reputation Levels; Beats Park Seo Jeon, Kim Ji Won

Several Kdramas recently ended its broadcast run such as the SBS romantic comedy suspense series "Suspicious Partner" and KBS' slice of life drama "Fight For My Way." Despite the said productions having released its final chapters, some of the series' cast members namely Ji Chang Wook, Park Seo Joon, and Kim Ji Won, ranked high on a monthly brand reputation chart.

For the chart period covering June 15 until July 16, Ji Chang Wook posted the highest reputation numbers among K-drama stars. The "Suspicious Partner" actor registered a total brand reputation score of 7,647,071 points, according to data from the Korean Business Research Institute, as cited by Korean news outlet Sports Worldi. To come up with the list, the said institution calculated the brand participation, media coverage and communication scores of around 50 celebrities who starred in currently airing dramas.

Similar to the "Suspicious Partner" actor Ji Chang Wook, two lead stars from "Fight For My Way" also nabbed top spots on the said list. Park Seo Joon landed at second place followed by co-star Kim Ji Won with brand reputation scores of 5,648,213 points and 5,516,096 points, respectively.

Apart from Ji Chang Wook, Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won, some of the Kdrama celebrities who also ranked on the July brand reputation chart included "Circle" actor Yeo Jin Goo at fourth place and "Ruler: Master of the Mask" actress Kim So Hyun at fifth place. "My Sassy Girl" actor Joo Won nabbed the sixth spot, followed by Kim Hee Sun, "Suspicious Partner" actress Nam Ji Hyun, Oh Yeon Seo and Yoo Seung Ho.

Meanwhile, Ji Chang Wook shared his thoughts about his impending mandatory army enlistment. In a recent Naver V broadcast, as cited by Korea Herald, the "Suspicious Partner" star conveyed his apprehensions and mixed feelings over his upcoming two-year military service. The actor explained that he felt worried yet excited but promised to do his best during his army stint.

Ji Chang Wook is scheduled to enlist in the military on Aug. 14. "Suspicious Partner" ended its 40-episode run on July 13 on SBS.
