Former Girls’ Generation Member Jessica Jung Reveals Comeback Plans In Summer

SM Entertainment has recently announced that Girls’ Generation, also fondly referred to as SNSD, will be making their comeback next month. Shortly after the news came out, it has been revealed that former member of the said girl group, Jessica Jung is also gearing up for a comeback on the same month.

It has been revealed just recently Jessica Jung has announced in an interview in Singapore that she is at the present working on a new album. The former Girls’ Generation member attended the SHINE Festival in Singapore on July 1 as a guest performer. The SHINE Festival is a yearly event organized by the country’s National Youth Council in celebration of the Youth Month.

During the live interview for the said event, Jessica was asked of her future plans. The singer-entrepreneur revealed that she is working on an album, which will make it her third album as a solo artist. She also revealed that her fashion brand company is Blanc & Eclare is gearing up to release new items. Jessica did not mention when her comeback date is but given that she is currently working on it and that she even said that she will be releasing it soon, it is speculated that she will release it sometime this summer, maybe even in August.

Jessica also pointed out that she continues to make new albums because of her fans. She revealed that her fans have been the source of her motivation because they have been with her through thick and thin. She emphasized that her fans all over the world have become her inspiration to create new songs.

Girls’ Generation is currently gearing up for a comeback this August as well and this year marks the group’s 10th anniversary since debut. Though Jessica and Girls’ Generation parted ways in 2014, fans are still welcoming the possibility of her and the group making a comeback at the same time, which could be a great treat for their 10th-anniversary celebration.
