The wait is finally over as SM Entertainment has finally confirmed the details of Girls’ Generation’s comeback. Also known as SNSD, the said girl group is gearing up for the comeback of the decade, which is scheduled next month.

Girls’ Generation will be celebrating their 10th anniversary since their debut and fans are anticipating something huge for the group’s milestone. SM Entertainment revealed last month that Girls’ Generation is already preparing for a comeback and an event for their fans in August. The girl group was even omitted from the SM Entertainment’s special stage in Hong Kong so the group can focus on their return to the music scene.

SM Entertainment just announced that Girls’ Generation will be releasing their new and sixth full album in August. Fans are ecstatic because it has been two years since the girl group released a full studio album, which was “Lion Heart”. The album will be released next month in line with their anniversary to celebrate the momentous event.

Aside from the confirmed full album, Girls’ Generation will also be holding a special fan event on August 10. The said fan meeting has been titled “Girls’ Generation 10th Anniversary – Holiday To Remember” and it will take place in Seoul Olympic Hall at the Olympic Park. Tickets will go on sale starting July 11 at 8:00 PM KST. The said fan event will have the girls performing their top hit songs as they look back on the special memories they shared with fans since their debut.

Members of Girls’ Generation Im Yoona and Kim Hyoyeon revealed before that the group is hard at work to make the best album since it is a special year. It was already further revealed by SM Entertainment that the group has already decided on their new title track. While waiting for Girls’ Generation’s comeback, fans can catch them at SMTOWN’s Live World Tour VI in Seoul on July 8.
