‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7 Spoilers: Jon, Sasha In Power Struggle? Kit Harington Teases Tension Between Siblings
With "Game of Thrones" Season 7 set to return to the small screens, avid fans of the HBO series can look forward to seeing the exciting challenges that await beloved characters. Recently, Kit Harington shared his thoughts about his character Jon and what viewers can expect from the said warrior's relationship with sister Sansa (Sophie Turner).
Kit Harington was candid during his interview with Entertainment Weekly where he talked about Jon and Sasha's bond as siblings. It appears that the two characters will encounter rough waters on their journey to gain control and power over their enemies. Viewers will soon see the tension between the two siblings in the upcoming "Game of Thrones" Season 7.
With Sasha continuing to question Jon's decisions and actions with the latter refusing to listen to the former, the said situation will soon affect the two characters' relationship in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. Describing the tension between Jon and Sasha as more than two siblings squabbling with each other, Harington commented that the said situation will turn into a power struggle.
However, the actor refused to share whether Jon and Sasha's power struggle will turn dark in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. Harington stated, "There is definite tension between them right from the first scene ... But as far as where that goes or takes them or how dark it can get, we'll see."
Harington also mentioned that viewers will see a stronger Jon in the upcoming "Game of Thrones" Season 7. The resurrected warrior will be more vocal and confident unlike the Jon that avid fans saw in earlier seasons who was fearful and doubtful of his actions, according to the actor.
Meanwhile, Sophie Turner recounted the iconic scene where Sasha killed Ramsay (Iwan Rheon) by letting the hungry hounds feed on him after Jon won their bloody battle. In an earlier interview with Time, the British star shared that she felt ecstatic that Sasha finally had a kill scene. The actress even conveyed her wish for Sasha to have "more kills" in "Game of Thrones" Season 7.
"Game of Thrones" Season 7 will premiere on July 16, Sunday, on HBO. Watch a teaser clip below:
