Guns N' Roses Reunion Happening? Axl Rose And Slash's Decade Long Feud Over?
Notorious band Guns N' Roses is rumoured to be reuniting and quite possibly, may go on tour. Rock supertars Slash and Axl Rose have ended their decade long feud and this may take us all back to the early 90's, according to Entertainment.
The iconic band is known as having one of the most notorious acts in the history of music and the band has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide.
Members Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff Mckagan and Steven Adler did not just live the sex, drugs and rock n' roll lifestyle, they redefined it, revealed What Culture.
Their debut album, "Appetite For Destruction," was released on July 21, 1987 by Geffen Records.
The record topped the Billboard 200 and became the best-selling debut album as well as the 11th best-selling record in the United States.
The iconic song "Sweet Child O' Mine" was the album's second single and became a huge hit in 1988, reaching the top of the charts in the United States. Slash hated the love song but it turned out to be a huge hit.
"I've got to be careful what I say there," answered Slash in an interview with CBS, refusing to comment on the reunion rumours. "I mean if everybody wanted to do it and do it for the right reasons, I think the fans will love it," cited NME.
Guns N' Roses' music is a fusion of punk, blues, heavy metal and glam rock. The band has also been criticized for starting shows late and walking out of shows early.
"I would retire from touring, because I wouldn't want to go up against that." Slipknot singer Corey Taylor said in a statement. "You know what I'm saying? And then I would follow them like I was a Deadhead. I would just go to every show but that's only if it's the Appetite lineup," Loudwire reported.
Back in the eighties, record industry producers tried to impress the band by showing them their collection of gold and platinum records. In return, Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash asked where the Jack Daniels was.
