'Life Is Strange' Season Two In Early Development; Will Feature New Cast And Characters
"Life is Strange" season two has been confirmed to be in early development, according to a report by PC Gamer.
"Life is Strange" season one had a good end, thanks to how well-written the game is. It also gained a lot of praise from many gaming websites. It had good interactive features and the story itself is great.
The end of the game, however gave a clue that it might not be the end. The game ended with the release of Episode 5: Polarized last month. It surpassed one million copies to be sold worldwide and that is only three episodes of the five part series.
Dontnod, the game developer, has confirmed that "Life is Strange" will have a second season soon and it is in development. Dontnod co-founder Alain Damasio has revealed the details of the second season during an interview, according to PC Games N.
"I worked as a script doctor on Life is Strange, developed by the studio Dontnod, and I will participate on Life is Strange 2 later," said Damasio in an interview.
This is not the first time that Dontnod has revealed that there might be a second season in the works for "Life is Strange" as the producer Luc Baghadoust and co-director Michel Koch said to a gaming website that a sequel might happen, according to Hardcore Gamer. Both said that there will be a feature with a new cast of characters for the second season.
Koch, also mentioned that the game has the same style as to the TV series "True Detective."
"We can really go with other characters, other locations, but still keep the identity of the game, the themes of the game," according to Koch.
There are no further details for "Life is Strange" season two and when it will be released.
