According to the description of "The Night Shift" Season 4, Episode 4, the show focuses on two different storylines. TC gets into action to save SEAL Commander in problem and Jordan helps a former armed forces officer.
The spoilers suggest that a patient from a distant town gets admitted for a surgery. Scott is put on the case and he is determined to help her against all odds. Meanwhile, Jordan and Cain come together to help an injured veteran to accept the diagnosis he thinks might not be right. The duo uses some creative measures to help the veteran.
At the same time, Drew continue to deal with the struggles of working parent. However, he finds motivation from an unexpected source, his patient. And Kenny learns an important lesson about life.
