‘Fallout 4’ Pip Boy Edition Pre-Order Cancelled; Retail Store Experience Issues With Ordering System!
The "Fallout 4" Pip Boy edition pre orders were suddenly cancelled by a retail store in the UK, according to Gamespot.
The Pip Boy edition has been such a popular version of the game that it was sold out, sources said. "Fallout 4" was one of the games that many fans waited for so this edition made it a good collector item to have. Pre orders were sold out right away and some sold pre order copies on eBay for double the original price.
Today, some customers of GAME, a UK video game retailer, have said that their pre-orders of the edition have been cancelled, according to IGN. A reply from GAME was shared by the game website.
While processing the orders, there were a small number of customers who experienced some issues with their orders. This was caused by their bank or PayPal accounts which were not going through with the payments. The customers have not shared anything for security and privacy, according to the reply by a representative from GAME.
"We would like to reassure all customers that have pre-ordered that their order is still reserved and being held for them," continued the statement. "Stock will be secured in our distribution center until we are able to ensure payment and delivery. This stock will not be released for general sale."
GAME has admitted that the cancellations of the edition were caused by an issue in its own ordering system, according to Eurogamer.net.
GAME will contact the customers through email within the next 48 hours with an order status of their item and the representative assured that their copies of the edition are safe.
The "Fallout 4" Pip Boy edition will be launched this coming Tuesday in the UK. The price tag for this edition will be £100.
