FNC just recently confirmed that ChoA will be leaving the group after she and the agency tied up some few loose ends. However, further updates have been released regarding the group’s new formation.

There were reports that AOA member Yuna will be replacing ChoA’s position as the group’s main vocalist since the latter will has finally left the group. With an empty spot being left behind, someone is bound to take the vacancy. FNC Entertainment pacified the rumors by addressing them, saying that nothing has been finalized yet except for ChoA’s departure.

Reports also say that after ChoA leaves the group, the remaining members will be embarking on their respective solo projects. The source of the reports added that AOA is experiencing a lot of changes since ChoA decided to leave the group. However, the agency and the rest of the members are planning their best to maintain group activities with the remaining members.

After a few days, on July 1, FNC Entertainment has updated fans with their decision regarding the changes in AOA. As of today, the agency revealed that nothing has still been finalized. The agency emphasized that they are focusing on the activities of the group and have not decided yet on whether or not Yuna should be taking ChoA’s place as the group’s main vocalist.

Meanwhile, ChoA has been spotted at a special event just after she left the girl group. The former member made her first public appearance since leaving AOA at her solo fan sign event at AK Plaza in Suwon on July 1. Her appearance is part of her modeling contract with Italian sports brand, “Ellese” so even if she is out of AOA, she has to continue her solo projects. ChoA is seen mingling with fans with a bright smile and reports say she could not help herself from shedding tears when fans sang farewell songs for her.
