Kim Soo Hyun’s latest movie, “Film” finally made its premiere this week and graced cinema theaters all over South Korea. However, things got out of hand when certain nude scenes from the movie were illegally leaked.

The new South Korean movie, “Real” made its grand debut on June 28. The said movie stars Kim Soo Hyun, Sung Dong Il, Lee Sung Min, and former f(x) idol member Choi Sulli. The movie was recently heralded as the worst movie of the year as negative reviews from critics poured in. However, that was not exactly what the people were interested in.

It has been revealed that as soon as the movie made its premiere, someone illegally recorded Sulli and Kim Soo Hyun’s steamy yet controversial bed scene and uploaded it on online social media outlets. The leaked scenes have gone viral and are still going around the internet until now. The production crew behind “Real” has released an official statement and decided to take the matter in their hands.

Cove Pictures released their official statement on June 30 and explained the severity of the crime done because of the leaked scenes. The studio emphasized that any form of distribution or reproduction of a film, in part or in whole, especially without the permission is strictly prohibited. They pointed out that the illegally leaked scenes violated the actors’ portrait rights.

The production company that worked on Kim Soo Hyun’s film has revealed that they will be filing lawsuits against the person or people that took and distributed the said leaked videos. They added that they were able to delete the initial copies of the leaked scenes but because it has spread like wildfire, they cannot handle it any longer. Thus, they have decided to take legal action for the leaked scenes and will be working with the country’s cybercrime investigation teams.
