‘Star Wars: Battlefront 2’ Rumors Claimed Release For Xbox and PS4, Electronic Arts To Launch Free Content For All Players

Back in 2015, before the release of "Star Wars: Battlefront 2," only selected PC players were able to try out the games before anyone else. Now, the developers wanted to expand their horizons as the upcoming version of the franchise might be going to release for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners. Besides, the developers, Electronic Arts also announced free contents for all the players, without distinguishing the consoles.

According to Wccftech, "Star Wars Battlefront" Community Manager Sledgehammer70 wrote a post on the "Star Wars Battlefront 2" official forums asking players to report bugs found in the game's alpha. In the Reporting Template, PS4, PC, and Xbox One are mentioned. With the post, it can be confirmed that the adventurous franchise will be going to hit the Xbox and PS users.

The reports even included that the community manager has deleted the post as it can no longer be found at this time. But the "Star Wars Battlefront 2" enthusiast has captured the screenshot which can be served as the important proof about the rumor. The Reddit users CaptainPhantasma21 managed to the screengrab of the posts.

Although the Electronic Arts didn't claim or confirm any rumors, the developers have announced numerous changes and free contents for "Star Wars Battlefront 2." In the press release, Electronic Arts stated that every player who owns the game will have access to the same iconic characters. The wanted to woo the Xbox One and PS4 players through planetary conflicts, sleek starfighters and epic space battles throughout the entirety of the post-release support period.

The post further explains that the new heroes will come with the new Star cards. The "Star Wars Battlefront 2" players will also be able to customize their favorite characters with respect to their abilities by using star cards. The Star Cards will be available in four categories including common, uncommon, rare and epic and the players can earn the cards through the gameplay. The game is expected to release on November 17th for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles.
