‘2 Days 1 Night’ Star Cha Tae Hyun Proves Strong Bond With Fans, Surprise Gesture Makes Loyal Follower Cry

Cha Tae Hyun has been delighting his avid followers for more than 10 years given his long tenure in the South Korean entertainment industry. Recently, "The Best Hit" star proved that he formed a close connection with one of his loyal fans during a "2 Days 1 Night" game.

The recent episode of "2 Days 1 Night" featured a mission that required the cast members to successfully pick out their fans from a group of six people so they could win money to buy food. Aired on June 25, Sunday, the said episode showed Defconn, Kim Jong Min, Kim Joon Ho, Jung Joon Young and Yoo Shi Yoon unsure over the true identities of the six individuals before them. However, Cha Tae Hyun was the only person who was confident of completing the said challenge.

Cha Tae Hyun even played a prank to fool the "2 Days 1 Night" production team but left his avid fan slightly disappointed. Pretending to go to another person, "The Best Hit" star extended his greetings to the said individual before turning towards his loyal follower as he laid his hands on her shoulders. Named Park Mi Jin, the said fan became teary eyed after the actor successfully chose her, Korean news outlet Sports Donga reported.

The "2 Days 1 Night" star shared that he knew the said fan's name since she has been one his loyal followers. Park Mi Jin then revealed that she became Cha Tae Hyun's fan when she was just 16 years old. She even made the production team and the cast members laugh when she confessed that she felt devastated when the actor previously announced his marriage with his non-celebrity girlfriend.

Meanwhile, Cha Tae Hyun has been busy balancing his co-directorial and acting role in the time slip drama "The Best Hit." The said series marked the first time that the "2 Days 1 Night" star tried his hand at directing a TV production. During the drama's earlier press conference, the actor confessed that he sometimes felt conflicted on set especially when he wanted to continue shooting a scene but the actor in him would like to stop filming already, Xports News quoted the said celebrity as saying.

Cha Tae Hyun's "The Best Hit" airs every Friday and Saturday on KBS. Meanwhile, "2 Days 1 Night" releases new episodes every Sunday, also on KBS.
