Ji Chang Wook’s ‘Suspicious Partner’ & ‘Fight For My Way’ Nab Top Spots In TV Popularity Chart

"Fight For My Way" and "Suspicious Partner" are two of the highly rated weekday dramas given its talented cast members and intriguing storyline. Recently, the Park Seo Joon drama, as well as the Ji Chang Wook starrer, each ranked on the weekly chart that measures the most popular TV programs in South Korea.

Park Seo Joon's slice of life drama landed a spot on the top three TV shows on the latest Content Power Index (CPI) list. For the week covering June 5 until June 11, "Fight For My Way" nabbed the second spot on the said chart, according to data from entertainment company CJ E&M and Nielsen Korea, as cited by Yonhap News.

The said chart ranking marked an impressive achievement for "Fight My Way." The Park Seo Joon starrer was previously at number four but climbed two spots up with a CPI score of 236.6 points.

Meanwhile, "Suspicious Partner" also ranked on the top five list of the said CPI chart. With a score of 224 points, Ji Chang Wook's romantic comedy suspense series came in at number five.

Apart from "Fight For My Way" and "Suspicious Partner," other dramas that ranked on the latest CPI chart included MBC's historical drama "Ruler: Master of the Mask" that landed at sixth place. tvN's new legal thriller "Stranger" also nabbed a spot on the said list at number eight, followed by the KBS family drama "Father is Strange."

In other news, Park Seo Joon and Ji Chang Wook's respective series recently posted its highest viewership shares. "Fight For My Way" episode 9 that aired on June 19 achieved a TV rating of 12.1 percent across the South Korean nation and 13.5 percent in Seoul, according to Nielsen Korea. Released on June 21, "Suspicious Partner" episode 26 registered viewership ratings of 10.5 percent and 11.7 percent, nationwide and across the Seoul metropolitan area, respectively.

"Fight For My Way" airs every Monday and Tuesday on KBS. "Suspicious Partner" releases two 30-minute episodes every Wednesday and Thursday on SBS.
