Supernatural Season 12

"Supernatural" Season 13 is expected to be a family affair as the main villain Lucifer finds a new ally with his powerful son Jack in his battle against his mortal enemies, the Winchesters. Based on early spoilers for the season, the show is shaping up to be an epic battle.

According to a report by Blasting News, there is a very strong possibility that with Lucifer sidelined in an alternate world, "Supernatural" Season 13 could see Jack taking on the cudgels of his father's evil plans.

Jack promises to be a menacing enemy for Sam and Dean as he was able to mature into an adult in only a matter of minutes, not leaving anyone with a chance to turn him to their side. With the powerful spawn of Lucifer at the Winchesters' heels, Sam and Dean will have their work cut out for them in "Supernatural" Season 13.

Luckily actor Misha Collins, who plays the role of the angel Castiel has already confirmed that he will still be joining the cast for "Supernatural" Season 13. The actor, however, warned that fans of the show will have to get used to the Castiel who comes back as he may be different from the one who was killed by an angel blade at the end of "Supernatural" Season 12.

Unfortunately, one of the Winchesters' powerful allies, the King of Hell himself, Crowley, will be gone for good. Actor Mark Sheppard confirmed on his personal Instagram that he will no longer be part of the "Supernatural" franchise and said he was ready to move on to something new, Korea Portal reported.

When it was implied that he could be making a return to the long-running franchise, Sheppard said with finality that there are no plans to have him return to the "Supernatural" franchise at any juncture. "Supernatural" Season 13 is expected to be part of The CW's fall lineup.
