Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, J7 Pro: Everything To Know About Specs, Release Date, Price

Samsung, as expected has taken the wraps off two new smartphones namely, Galaxy J7 Max and J7 Pro in the global markets. Both the mid-range devices come with Samsung's new payment feature, 'Pay Mini' and pack several improved specifications that are described as ideal for a normal smartphone user. While the devices were unveiled in Europe earlier this month, the company only brought the smartphones a month later to India at starting prices, Rs 20,900 for Galaxy J7 Max and Rs 17,900 for Galaxy J7 Pro.

Talking about the specifications, the Galaxy J7 Pro as reported by Gadgets 360 pack a 5.5-inch full HD (1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display and is further powered by an Exynos 7870 SoC. The device further offers 3GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage, which can further be expanded via its microSD card slot. On the camera front, the smartphone flaunts a 13MP rear sensor with f/1.9 aperture and 1080p video recording capability along with a 13MP front snapper with LED flash. The device houses a 3,600mAh battery and offers 4G LTE, microUSB port, Android Nougat 7.0 operating system and dual SIM card option.

The Galaxy J7 Max, on the other hand, features a 5.7-inch TFT display with full HD (1080 pixels) resolution and is powered by MediaTek Helio P20 octa-core SoC. According to a report published by BGR, the smartphone offers 4GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via its microSD card. The camera of the device packs a 13MP rear and front camera along side 3,300mAh battery. Other features are the same as the Galaxy J7 Pro.

These smartphones fall in the mid-range category and are expected to compete with other major technology giants including Nokia, Xiaomi, and others.
