‘Criminal Minds’ Season 13 Spoilers: JJ & Garcia To Return
There's some good news for the fans of "Criminal Minds." As opposed to the reports that emerged in the past, a season 13 might actually be in the making. What's more? A fresh rumor suggests that JJ and Garcia are also going to be back with the "Criminal Minds" Season 13.
According to a report published by TV Guide, JJ and Garcia character-players, i.e. A.J. Cook and Kirsten Vangsness respectively have apparently signed a deal with CBS and ABC Studios co-producers for staying onboard with "Criminal Minds." They have apparently been paid hefty sums to ensure that they don't abandon the project. These two actors are extremely crucial to the show's future story-line. Moreover, both of these actors have been a part of "Criminal Minds" since the very first season.
According to another report published by Variety, it appears like the raises provided to A.J. Cook and Kirsten Vangsness, have now put them on par with the main actor and lead of the show. Apart from A.J. Cook and Kirsten Vangsness, Gubler and Joe Mantegna have also reportedly received a hefty sum in the form of a raise to stick to the show for the upcoming season. Other characters that will apparently be making a comeback include Adam Rodriguez, Aisha Tyler, and Paget Brewster. However, Damon Gupton won't be returning with the "Criminal Minds" Season 13.
As can be recalled, "Criminal Minds" producers unconsciously pushed the female cast to hold much relevance in the show back during the 6th season. The producers opted not to bring back Cook at that time, therefore being forced to push A.J. Cook and Kirsten Vangsness as full-time female cast members. Therefore, it makes sense that these actors are being paid a hefty sum in order to stick with the show and fulfill the storyline that might follow with the "Criminal Minds" Season 13.
