OnePlus 5 News & Update: OnePlus Announces Disappointing News Just Few Weeks Before Their Next Flagship Launch
OnePlus' flagship killer back in 2015, the OnePlus 2 would not be receiving any Android Nougat update. OnePlus had previously stated that an Operating System update for the OnePlus 2 is in the works, but obviously, that is not the case as of this writing.
In a report by Express, the reason why the sudden change by OnePlus in its decision to provide an Android Nougat update to the OnePlus 2 is because of their software infrastructure team. Back when the OnePlus 2 was released August of 2015, OnePlus still had a gaping hole in its software department unlike what it is today, thus the lack of support for the OnePlus 2. OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T owners, however, will be able to benefit Google's new Android 8 also known as Android O.
A lot of you have been asking, so I'm proud to say Android O will come to OnePlus 3 and 3T.
