Just like last year, Sony's E3 2017 event was jam-packed as faithfuls watched the company's upcoming titles that are lined up to be released this year and in the early parts of 2018. Fans were given a sweet treat as another serving of "God of War" teaser was dropped during the event giving players a hint on what is ahead of them by the time the game hits the shelves.

When the first "God of War" teaser was shown during E3 2016, Sony showcased a nine-minute gameplay showing the anti-hero Kratos wielding a battle ax alongside his son Atreus. This year, a five-minute sizzler reel was shown as it featured some human and non-human characters that the father and son duo will be coming across within the game.

The so-called World Serpent was probably one of the highlights of the mentioned "God of War" teaser, according to The Verge. What made it even more intriguing was the part where Kratos' son seemed to understand what the behemoth creature was trying to relay to them as it suggests that the gigantic water dweller wants to help them.

If such would be the case, it can be recalled that previous installments of "God of War" has featured the protagonist being aided by higher beings like Athena and the Titan Gaia. The publication even theorized that Atreus might have a key role in the game aside from his father's apprentice. The report suggests that Atreus could be Thor's foe not to mention being the possibility of him being the "living embodiment of Ragnarok."

Meanwhile, YouTube Gaming, as cited by PlayStation LifeStyle, claimed early on that the "God of War" reboot will be out on November 28. Such report was immediately doused though as the Sony presentation revealed that the game will be out in early 2018. Check out a video about the long awaited title here:
