Samsung ATIV Book 9 Pro Release Date Announced; Specs Released!
Samsung introduced their first 4K display laptop, the ATIV Book 9 Pro, which will be available for consumers this November.
The newest addition to Samsung's ATIV series is created for users who prefer great display quality like the gamers and graphic artists, according to Engadget.
The new ATIV Book 9 Pro has a 15.6-inch, 3840 x 2160 screen-resolution touchscreen panel. The manufacturer calls it the "real time HDR enhancements" for the contrast and brightness of the laptop.
The laptop is composed of high specifications starting with the Intel Core i7 processor, 8GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M for the graphics, has 256GB SSD, 4K HDMI port and four built-in speakers. The laptop's battery life can last up to six and a half hours and weighs about 4.45 pounds, according to The Verge.
The laptop has a new SideSync feature that allows Samsung smartphones such as the Galaxy Note 3 or S4 to transfer files with or without any physical connection to the laptop. The sleek and lightweight ATIV Book 9 Pro's body is covered in aluminum and will cost for $1,599, according to Engadget.
Samsung will also release the ATIV Book 9 Spin that works both as a laptop and a tablet, according to souces. The item costs $1,399.
The laptop's 13.3 inch-touchscreen display can rotate to a full 360 degrees. It has an outdoor option to brighten up the laptop's screen up to 700nit and a battery life that can last for seven hours. It runs on Intel Core i7 processing unit, a storage of 8GB RAM and almost the same specifications as the ATIV Book 9 Pro, but it doesn't have the 4K display, according to The Verge.
The ATIV Book 9 Pro and ATIV Book 9 Spin will be available in stores and Samsung's website this November 2015, according to Tech Times.
