Google Pixel 2 Release Date, News & Update: Recent Leak Proved To Be Fake; Designer Benjamin Geskin Quick To Kill Rumors
Recent reports of a leaked render for the Google Pixel 2 has been a widespread all over the news in a just a short span of time. However, designer and leakster Benjamin Geskin was quick to shed light on the situation.
"Oh dear.. that's my concept. There's even my nickname under the date." Benjamin Geskin Tweeted just 9 hours ago. His concept design was featured on several news sites being a leaked render of the Google Pixel 2.

Geskin had a hold of the supposed leaked design way back February of this year, showing off a bezel-less screen and dual camera setup oh his Google Pixel 2 concept. What other details were leaked?

In a report by Android Guys, the leak was said to be sourced from Chinese website Sina. The alleged leak has also revealed that Google Pixel 2 will be sporting a new top of the line chip from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 836. The sole existence of the Snapdragon 836 has yet to be confirmed, nor any mentions from Qualcomm. However, Qualcomm has already announced two top of the line chips within the same year in the past, being the 820 and 821.
The supposed leak also states that the claimed dual camera setup of the upcoming Google Pixel 2 is powered by two 16-megapixel sensors, while the camera on the front sports 8-megapixels.No official release date details were made public up to this writing.
