Seventeen Talks About Dorm Life & Struggles Of Being In A 13-Member Group
On June 7, SBS LoveFM's 'Yoon Hyung Bin and Yang Se Hyung's Two Man Show' was graced by the presence of Seventeen members Seungkwan, The8, Wonwoo, Jeonghan, Woozi and Joshua. Due to space issues, only 6 members of the 13-member group came to appear on the radio show. The boys eagerly told dorm stories and opened up about struggles in their domestic life.
The members got candid and talked about how chaotic it is in their dorm. Since there are 13 boys together in one dorm, Seventeen often has struggles doing simple daily routines. "We have three bathrooms. When we're busy, two or three people will be in a bathroom at a time. In the beginning, we used to joke around and put shampoo bubbles on each other's heads. But now that we've known each other for a while, we don't do that anymore because we want to clean up quickly and go to bed," the members said.
Seventeen also shared how they sometimes forget a member due to their large size. They shared, "There have been times when we accidentally forgot a member on the way to a scheduled activity. We'd round up all the members but there would sometimes be a member who's in the bathroom brushing his teeth or something. Our managers have a difficult job."
Seventeen then revealed that even though they have someone to do their laundry, they wash their own underwear themselves but sometimes their garments would get mixed up and some boys' underwear would go missing. The members said that if someone's underwear would disappear from the drying rack, they would take a photo of the drying rack and send it to their group chat to find out who took who's underwear.
The members also revealed that because there are 13 boys living together in one dorm, fights arise pretty often. They said, "We've never had any big problems when working together, but we've fought from time to time about small things outside of work. We have a lot of difficulties when it comes to eating because our opinions on menu choices can differ greatly. We do try to all go to one restaurant together, sometimes we might split up and go to two different restaurants, but we try to stick together."
