Clearly, Valentine is disgusted to be trapped inside a warlock's body. Meanwhile, Magnus tries to convince people that he is stuck inside Valentine's body. The official "Shadowhunters" Season 2, episode 12 synopsis, tease that after the murder of several Shadowhunters, the Institute will have to resort to controversial means to prevent a Downworlder uprising. Meanwhile, showrunners Darren Swimmer and Todd Slavkin spoke with TheWrap about "Shadownhunters" Season 2. The showrunners stated that the introduction of Sebastian lends a sense of suspense and deepens the show.
"We're going to see that even more, especially for Jace, who's trying to come to terms with his past and his roots and what his identity is, and Clary, who's now coming into her own at the Institute and becoming more of a bonafide Shadowhunter and trying to figure out where she fits in that," Swimmer said. Slavkin talked about the body count in "Shadowhunters" Season 2. "The body count should be up there with other seasons - the body count in episode 1 right off the bat is pretty high," Slavkin said.
