OnePlus 5 News & Update: Teaser Photo Shows OnePlus 5, Smaller Than OnePlus 3T; 3300 mAh Battery & Dual Camera Setup Leaked

In the past few weeks, there has been no shortage of OnePlus 5 leaks and reveals. Today, we'll further discuss details of the OnePLus 5's possible hardware features.

Slimmer, Smaller OnePlus 5

"Look into the shadows. What do you 5ee?" OnePlus' official Twitter account earlier this morning made a Tweet showcasing the OnePlus 3T and what seems to be a smartphone hiding beneath the shadows of OnePlus' most recent flagship. It would not take a genius to figure out that OnePlus is teasing their next flagship killer, the OnePlus 5 sporting what could be a smaller frame than its predecessor.

As seen in the photo above the significance of the difference in size is not that glaring, which could mean that the OnePlus 5 would be equipped with the same 5.5-inch display as the OnePlus 3T. As reported by PhoneArena, "The size difference doesn't seem to be significant, which could mean that the OnePlus 5 will still sport a 5.5-inch display (like its predecessor), but with thinner bezels on top and bottom."

OnePlus 5 Dual Cameras & Smaller Battery

Another significant OnePlus 5 leak, details what could be the flagship killer's camera setup. The speculated box or the packaging the OnePlus 5 comes with seems to have found the light of day and on the image, it says the tagline, "Dual Camera. Clearer Pictures."

In an article by Android Authority, it says "Our leaker has now put any doubt over the presence of a dual camera on the final OnePlus 5 to rest, by revealing what we're told is the "official tagline" of the OnePlus 5. (We should note that we have heard from another source that "Focus on what matters" is also part of the OnePlus 5 messaging, along with the perennial "Never Settle")."

In another OnePlus 5 leak, this time it shares details in regards to the smartphone's battery. An image of what seems to be a draft or poster shows off the words "OnePlus 5" and "3300 mAh battery." The photo was sourced from Chinese social media site Weibo.
