T-Mobile has announced that Cellspot, their new mini cellular tower designed to boost data signal indoors, will be released on Nov. 4.

The LTE Cellspot is 8.5 inches tall and 8.5 inches wide, can provide T- mobile customers a 3G and 4G cellular data within the 3,000 square feet area, according to The Washington Post.

"Where the T-Mobile Wi-Fi CellSpot's like a T-Mobile tower, this new 4G LTE CellSpot is a T-Mobile mini-tower-and it's a huge feat of engineering," T-Mobile's CEO, John Legere said in a statement via Tech Times.

The Cellspot can fully operate once it is connected to an Internet router. It can accommodate all LTE compatible smartphones as part of the company's Uncarrier 7.0. This mini tower innovation will provide the resolution to T-Mobile customers' problem of having a weak signal almost to none in some areas at home or at their office, which the company is fully aware.

T-Mobile's Cellspot can provide video calling with HD audio quality that can support a maximum of 16 calls at once and an advanced messaging. The device doesn't require a username or a password to log in thus, lets the users connect automatically, according to Tech Times.

The device's connection speed will depend on the internet service plan of the customer. T-Mobile spokesperson, Joel Rushing explained that, "Imagine putting a race car in rush hour traffic in the scenario you describe," as reported in The Washington Post.

T-Mobile's Cellspot costs a refundable $25, if the customer returns the device later on, according to Wired.

This is not the first device that T-Mobile has made. Recently the company has come up with Wi-Fi CellSpot Router with almost the same functionality as the latter. The Wi-Fi CellSpot Router was part of the company's Uncarrier 7.0 where 1 million units were sold and more than 11.2 million calls were made a day using the WiFi connection, according to Tech Times.

T-Mobile sat on the last spot in terms of network reliability and call performance from the analytics firm RootMetrics report, according to Wired.
