With summer fast approaching, fans of Adult Swim's "Rick and Morty" are getting more excited to see Episode 2 of "Rick and Morty" Season 3. The second episode is entitled "Rickmancing the Stone" and takes inspiration from the cult classic film "Romancing the Stone."

It can be recalled that "Rick and Morty" show creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland surprised fans with the best April Fool's prank last April 1 when they released the pilot episode of the much awaited "Rick and Morty" Season 3 entitled "The Rickshank Redemption." In the first episode, the team managed to outdo its personal best performance and managed to chock out a total of 205 jokes in the span of 22 minutes 46 seconds, Korea Portal reported.

"The Rickshank Redemption" also paid a lot of fan service when it made plenty of references to events from the previous seasons. It also included cameos from Disney Channel's "Gravity Falls," a show created by Justin Roiland's friend Alex Hirsch. It can be recalled that during "Gravity Falls'" run, it also made references to "Rick and Morty."

According to fresh reports from Blasting News, "Rick and Morty" may be set to unleash new episodes starting this July. It can be recalled that after "Rick and Morty" Season 3 Episode 1 aired, it was teased that the show will return for its third season this summer. No specific date was announced, however.

Based on early information about the show, "Rick and Morty" Season 3 Episode 2 "Rickmancing the Stone" is rumored to revolve around Morty seeking help from Rick to save his sister Summer Smith. This is because "Romancing the Stone" follows a similar thread of a man teaming up with a mercenary to save his sister.

"If you loved that episode, we top it this season, multiple times," "Rick and Morty" writer Dan Guterman tweeted about Season 3. "If you hated it, we top it this season, multiple times."
