'OnePlus 5' New & Updates: 'Flagship Killer' To Sport A 'Unicorn'-Colored Theme; Likely To Still Don A Headphone Jack
While OnePlus fans wait for an official announcement on when OnePlus 5 will be launched, the company is as of late inviting it followers to be part of the upcoming phone's creative process. The China-based tech firm recently rolled out a survey asking folks what would be their preferred color scheme for the upcoming handset from which one of the proposed shades might surprise its faithfuls.
OnePlus took to Twitter some days ago to ask fans what would be the best color for the inbound OnePlus 5. The suggested hues posted by the company include black, red, gray, and a pearlescent tint that the company dubbed as "unicorn," according to CNET.

Fans took notice of such shade and even associated it with the color penchants favored by American DJ Slushii/DJ Swoon. The survey could still be ongoing as OnePlus has not yet made a statement as to what will be OnePlus 5's official tint.
Meanwhile, it may well seem that the OnePlus 5 will not be ditching the 3.5mm audio jack that previously rumored to have been dropped by the phone maker. Albeit the most recent leaked photo that does not don the said connector, it is believed that the jack could be carved on top of the new flagship phone, XDA noted.
Despite being an expected spec under its hood, the OnePlus 5 has been confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835. The latest SoC from the chipmaker is said to be 30 percent quicker and 40 percent more power efficient than its predecessor - the 821. Additionally, it is also anticipated to sport an Adreno 540 GPU that is clocked at 710MHz and performs 25 percent better than earlier renders.
