Lumia 950 And 950 XL Pre-Order Price Drops In France And UK; Specs Detailed!

The Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL have a discounted price for pre-order in France and in the UK.

The smartphones from the recent Microsoft flagship series has a price cut-off before the pre-order period in UK and France. The Lumia 950 and 950 XL is now available for pre-order in Amazon France, with a lower price, according to Tech Times.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 price cuts down from €599 ($660) to €563 ($619) and the Lumia 950 XL is available in black and white variants that will sell for €649($715) including a seven percent discount from the original price of €699 each, according to GSM Arena.

The price drop for the Lumia 950 and 950 XL is only available in France and UK, while other European regions will still sell the phone at its original price.

Microsoft hasn't released any information about the handset's shipping date in France, but, it will be up for shipping in Italy on Nov. 7, and will cost €599 ($659) and €699 ($769) for the Lumia 950 and 950 XL respectively.

UK's shipping date is set on Dec. 3, according to Tech Times.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 specs include a 5.2-inch display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, runs on Windows 10, has Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor clocked at 1.8GHz, a 3GB RAM, 32GB internal memory and has a MicroSD card slot, according to sources. The rear camera is 20-megapixel with optical image stabilization, a five megapixel front camera and a 3,000 mAh battery.

The Lumia 950 XL has almost the same specifications as Lumia 950 with the expception of the 5.7-inch display and 3,340-mAh battery, according to WinBeta.

The two Microsoft Lumia flagship series are expected to work as mini PCs because of their enhanced functionality and specifications, since it will be running on the new Windows 10 OS, according to Tech Times.
