Asus Zenfone 2 Laser Specs Detailed; US To Sell Modified Version?
Asus has recently announced the new Zenfone 2 Laser specifications for United States consumers, which is a model different from the one available internationally.
The unlocked version of the Zenfone 2 Laser is the recent addition to the Asus Zenfone 2 flagship. The Asus Zenfone 2 Laser has a model number of ZE551KL, which will be available in the US.
There are four other model numbers for the smartphone: ZE500KG, ZE500KL, ZE601KL and ZE550KL, according to Tech Times.
The Asus Zenfone 2 Laser's specs include an OS of ASUS Zen UI 2.0 which runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It has 5.5-inch display with 1920x1080-screen resolution covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and programmed with ASUS TruVivid Full Screen Lamination Technology.
In addition, the phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64-bit at 1.7GHz. It has a 3GB capacity for the RAM and an internal memory of either 16GB or 32GB. It also has a microSD slot that is upgradable to 128GB.
The rear camera is 13-megapixels with laser autofocus and LED real tone flash while the front facing camera is 5-megapixel. The remaining specs include a dual-SIM capability along with WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, LTE compatible connectivity and a 3,000mAh removable battery, according to Android Central.
The smartphone's improved PixelMaster 2.0 camera is a "laser auto-focus innovation" that is designed to capture sharp photos but maintaining the object's natural skin tone even in a dim-light setting, according to Tech Times.
The smartphone will only be compatible with T-Mobile and AT&T. No other networks will work for the phone aside from these two.
The all-new smartphone from Asus will sell the 16GB variation for $199 and $249 for the 32GB. The Asus Zenfone 2 Laser will be up for grabs in Asus stores and on online retailer store Newegg, according to Tech Times.
