Actor Lee Yi Kyung Says Sorry For Choosing Taeyeon As His Ideal Type
Actor Lee Yi Kyung has apologized for naming Girls' Generation's Taeyeon as his ideal type during an interview with DJ Jung Yoo Mi. On May 16 airing, Lee Yi Kyung has made radio guesting on DJ Jung Yoo Mi show “Jung Yoo Mi's FM Date”. The DJ asked Lee Yi Kyung to play “Ideal Type World Cup”, in which the guest chooses the celebrity archetype they would most like to date, based on a series of choices which are presented tournament-style.
On the game’s first round, Lee Yi Kyung has picked Taeyeon over Seohyun as well as actress Kim Ji Won over Song Hye Kyo. For the second round, choices were between Son Dam Bi and Son Ye Jin. Lee Yi Kyung has chosen Son Ye Jin. Additionally, the choice was between Taeyeon and Kim Ji Won, he ultimately picked Taeyeon.
The choices in the final round were between Taeyeon and Son Ye Jin and Lee Yi Kyung eventually chose Taeyeon. Taeyeon became the ultimate winner for Lee Yi Kyung’s “Ideal Type World Cup” game. However, Lee Yi Kyung has realized that he has been picking Taeyeon over and over again. He then realized and explained his side about choosing her.
Lee Yi Kyung has apologized to the fans of Teayeon and mentioned that he is close with the Girl's Generation's member. He added that Taeyeon's fans have been sending messages to him over social media, saying to stop mentioning their idol's name.
“I want to get rid of all the misunderstandings. Recently, Taeyeon invited me to her concert but I couldn't go. That's why I chose her. Taeyeon and I are very close to the point where she visits my movie set and leaves me a message saying that I seem to be working hard,” Lee Yi Kyung explained thoroughly.
Lee Yi Kyung has worked on projects both independent and commercial films including Leesong Hee-il's “White Night” and Kim Ki-duk's “One on One”.
