The announcement that along with "Once Upon A Time" Season Finale will be the exit of six beloved characters has hit the show hard especially since ABC has renewed the fairy tale-inspired series for a seventh season. Fans of the show were shocked to learn that lead stars Jennifer Morrison, Rebecca Mader, Ginnifer Goodwin, Josh Dallas and Jared Gilmore and  Emilie de Ravin who have been with the show from the beginning, will not be returning for the planned Season 7.

In interviews with TV Guide and Entertainment Weekly, show creators Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis have assured that they were well aware of the developments and have planned what they need to do to make "Once Upon a Time" Season 7 as engaging to the audience as the first six seasons. Here's what viewers can expect from the reboot of the show.

Henry Mills will the new central character. Showrunners Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis promised that there will be more stories to tell for "Once Upon a Time" as Henry tries to find it in his heart the same hope that has made him the one true believer since the show's beginning. His journey will be similar to that of Emma's in the beginning but the parallels will not mean a replay of previous events but a new twist to a story with the same core message. He will have aged as an adult version but he will still be the same character.

The revelation of Lucy's mother. Showrunners guaranteed that the revelation of Lucy's mother will be something to watch out and how they will roll out Henry's love story will be in the same vein as Snow and Prince Charming. The pivotal role that Henry's daughter will play in the reboot will also be very interesting for "Once Upon a Time."

Branching out to other fairy tales. "Once Upon a Time" showrunners said that after they told the story of the first batch of characters, they have already planned out how to expand the universe and open the world up to telling more stories with new characters. They assured that they will take care to pay attention to both the older and newer elements to the show for a more fluid storytelling experience.

Tapping into a new audience. While many loyal viewers who have followed "Once Upon a Time" for the last six seasons have sworn to leave the show along with their favorite characters, Horowitz and Kitsis are still hoping that there will those who will stick with the show to witness its evolution. The upside to the reboot, they said is that new viewers could start following the show in Season 7 and fans from Season 1 could also enjoy the reboot as a new experience.
