"Kingdom Hearts 3" Delayed Development Due To Content Cuts
Based on the latest updates, "Kingdom Hearts 3" development has been delayed due to a number of cuts within the game. In a Twitter post, username Jose Alamo claimed that Square Enix is facing some problems with the production of the sequel. He also cited that the game will be launched as an incomplete game like "Final Fantasy XV."
"Kingdom Hearts 3" remake, meantime, will not be released within this year and may go beyond either in 2018 or the following year. Some reports also suggest that the game will likely include more characters from "Final Fantasy" following a survey that revealed five names that the fans want in the game sequel. The choices were Noctis from "Final Fantasy XV," Bartz from "Final Fantasy V," Claire from "Lightning," Farron from "Final Fantasy XIII," a Chocobo and Zidane from "Final Fantasy IX."
Incidentally, the survey accounted for over 500 votes, and Noctis won by a margin of 36, which makes fans speculate that Noctis may appear alongside Sora in "Kingdom Hearts 3" soon. Meanwhile, Square Enix is expected to announce the official release date for the game soon for Xbox One and PS4, Mic reported.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" trailer was supposed to have been shown in April but was pushed back instead to E3 2017. According to reports, the changes, as well as the lack of confirmation by the developers, could be due to some development issues.
