TWICE Continues To Post Strong Brand Reputation Numbers, Surpasses Red Velvet, EXID

TWICE was recently identified as the group with the highest brand reputation level among K-pop girl bands. The group even bested Red Velvet and EXID for the said chart's May listing.

The brand reputation chart for Kpop girl groups for the month of May was dominated by TWICE. Occupying the top spot for the seventh month in a row, the said group scored 8,071,736 brand reputation points from April 12 until May 13. The impressive number represented a 65.06 percent increase from the previous month, according to data from the Korea Business Research Institute, as cited by Soompi.

TWICE continued to reign over the said brand reputation list given the popularity of the K-pop group's songs "TT" and "Knock Knock." Moreover, many fans have been looking forward to the upcoming release of the band's new album.

Meanwhile, Red Velvet nabbed the spot after TWICE with a brand reputation score of 4,502,995. EXID rose from last month's number 18 to occupy the third place for the month of May with 4,395,313 points. LABOUM came in at number four, followed by BLACKPINK, PRISTIN, Oh My Girl, Girls Generation, Rainbow and Girl's Day.

Apart from TWICE, Red Velvet and EXID, Kpop girl groups such as Lovelyz, Apink and MAMAMOO also ranked on the said brand reputation chart. For the month of the May, the said groups landed at number 11, 12 and 13, respectively. GFRIEND landed at number 14, with gugudan, Stellar, WANNA.B, AOA, Dreamcatcher and MOMOLAND occupying the fifteenth to twentieth spots.

In other news, avid TWICE fans have been anticipating the K-pop group's comeback album. Titled "Signal," the said album contains six tracks including a song composed by iconic music producer J.Y. Park, All Kpop reported.

TWICE's title track for the group's upcoming album also boasts the same name as the said LP, "Signal." The Kpop girl band is set to release the said song and their new album on May 15.
