After crashing an intimate birthday party for the toddler Dong Gun and sleeping over at Hyun Tae's (Kim Jae Young) Book Bar following an intense beer drinking match with the said travel author, Jin Wook will gain access to Yoo Mi's apartment and will even be forced to take on nanny duties for Dong Gun.
With Yoo Mi out to attend a lecture the morning after the party, Jin Wook will have no choice but to take care of Dong Gun when Yoo Mi's mom suddenly asked him to look after the toddler since she has an appointment. The teaser clip for the upcoming "My Secret Romance" episode 9 showed Jin Wook spending the better part of the morning catering to Dong Gun's needs and even bringing him to a nearby playground so that they could play. However, Chairman Cha (Kim Jong Goo) will witness Jin Wook's bonding time with the toddler and will assume that Yoo Mi is a single mother.
Jin Wook's father will even confront his son about his romance with Yoo Mi and her alleged single mother status in "My Secret Romance" episode 9. Moreover, the CEO will begin to suspect that Dong Gun might be his son given the toddler's age which matches the time that he had the one-night stand with Yoo Mi. The revelation will have Jin Wook questioning Yoo Mi about the things that happened to her three years back and what she had to endure after their beach tryst.
Meanwhile, viewers can look forward to seeing tense scenes between Yoo Mi and Chairman Cha with Jin Wook's father seeking the nutritionist out at the company's cafeteria. However, it appears that Yoo Mi will try to make her relationship with Jin Wook work despite the chairman's demands for her to leave his son alone.
