EXO’s Baekhyun Responds To Criticisms Over Kpop Group’s Performances
EXO has been delighting avid fans all over the world with their music and powerful performances on stage. Recently, EXO's Baekhyun shared his thoughts about some of the negative feedback that the Kpop band received from critics.
Despite EXO's popularity, the Kpop group also became the target of critics who would highlight what they found unsatisfactory about the band's performances. These critics would even voice their displeasure online and sometimes single out specific band members. In a recent fan event, EXO's Baekhyun admitted that he also tries to keep track of the negative feedback that netizens would post online.
The Kpop idol made the revelation at a special fan meeting held to commemorate his birthday. During the event, EXO's Baekhyun candidly stated that he reads all the comments that fans would post online regardless if it is positive or negative. He even considered the negative feedback as a form of construction criticism that he and his bandmates can use to improve themselves, Koreaboo reported.
EXO's Baekhyun also mentioned how he encouraged other EXO members to do the same and check all the online comments left by fans. The Kpop idol even commended the critics for highlighting items that they were unhappy with and even shared how he never felt slighted or offended by the criticisms.
The said EXO band member explained, "I don't get hurt at those things. I would rather be told [EXO's] 'Baekhyun was good but there just one thing that seemed lacking' because it could really help me improve."
In other news, EXO recently capped off the North American leg of their world concert tour. Dubbed the "EXO Planet #3 - The EXO'rdium" concert series, the Kpop group performed at Newark's Prudential Center and at Inglewood's The Forum in California on April 25 and April 28, respectively. The group also held a sold-out concert in Mexico on April 27, according to Korea Herald.
EXO will wrap up it's "EXO Planet #3 - The EXO'rdium" tour with two performances in Seoul. The Kpop band is scheduled to perform at the Jamsil Olympic Main Stadium on May 27 and May 28.
