Nintendo Hosts Celebrities At 2016 E3 Gaming Convention

The E3 2017 Nintendo Spotlight is starting to sound very promising with the announcement of new Sandbox-style games, fan-favorite sequels and more. In this year's upcoming E3 event, Nintendo decided to ditch their live presentation.

Instead, Nintendo opted for a pre-recorded presentation which will showcase what's to come in the company's exclusive games line-up. The E3 2017 Nintendo Spotlight will start before the actual event kicks off on Tuesday.

According to their official website, there will be some intriguing titles to look forward to on Tuesday morning, including the return of a new Mario game. Nintendo teased a new open-world title called "Super Mario Odyssey", one of the first sandbox Mario games in a long time.

The last sandbox-style Mario game was "Super Mario Sunshine" which released back in 2002. With that said, it's going to be hard for fans not to get excited for a brand new sandbox title, let alone a new 3D Mario game.

However, that's not the only open-world adventure game that Nintendo is teasing in the E3 2017 Nintendo Spotlight show. According to VG24/7, another popular RPG is going to make a comeback, the sequel to the critically-acclaimed series "Xenoblade Chronicles 2."

Another fan-favorite RPG called "Fire Emblem Warriors" finds itself on the Nintendo Switch roster, which is a worthy addition to the console's library considering the increasing fan base of the series. In addition, Nintendo's latest console will benefit from a wealth of exclusives as well including the upcoming "Pokemon Stars" game, the "Splatoon" sequel and the new 3D fighting title called "ARMS."

To top-off the E3 2017 Nintendo Spotlight event, the company will also host game tournaments featuring the previously mentioned titles "Splatoon 2" and "ARMS." Needless to say, fans have loads of game titles and exclusive content to look forward to.

Nintendo is certainly putting on a good show despite the fierce competition they'll be facing on the E3 2017 event. The legendary games company is really showing its competitors why they've managed to remain in the industry for such a long time.
