OnePlus 5 Release Date & Update: Upcoming Device Will Beat Galaxy S8 In Power & Performance
OnePlus 5 is coming this year and their new smartphone is claiming to surpass the Samsung Galaxy S8. There are a lot of rumors about this upcoming handset, but just last week, another new leaked detail shows the probable specs of the phone.
An image showing details, which they claim the specs of the OnePlus 5, was posted on the Slashleaks report. Based on these alleged specs, the upcoming device will be one of the most powerful smartphones this year.
According to this leaked image, the OnePlus 5 will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and powered by Android 7.1 Nougat. It will also have a big memory like the 8GB of RAM and the 64GB of internal storage, not included the up to 128GB MicroSD support.
The camera and the battery of this OnePlus 5 phone are also impressive. It will have a 23MP and 16MP resolution for the rear and front camera, respectively. For the power and battery, it will have a massive 4,000mAh capacity which can run the device for plenty of hours.
Assuming that these leaked details are true, the OnePlus 5 is indeed more powerful than the Samsung Galaxy S8. Both devices have similar processor and ROM, but the former has 2GB bigger RAM compared to the S8. As well for the battery and camera, which the S8 only has a 3,000mAh and a maximum of 12MP.
On the recent reports, a leaked image also shows the alleged benchmark result of the latest smartphone devices, in which the OnePlus 5 beats all these devices in multi-core test. The leaked result from the GeekBench was first reported by the GSM Arena stating that the images and details came from a reliable source.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 may beat the OnePlus 5 in looks and design, but the device beats the S8 in power and performance. There is still no official launching date for the OnePlus 5, but according to the experts, it might release this summer.
