Sung Hoon, Song Ji Eun’s Drama ‘My Secret Romance’ Continues To Rank High On Popular Asian Series List
"My Secret Romance" continues to delight avid K-drama lovers with its romantic storyline and the explosive chemistry between lead stars Sung Hoon and Song Ji Eun. Recently, the OCN drama nabbed the first spot on Drama Fever's top Asian series for the week of May 9.
Sung Hoon and Song Ji Eun's romantic comedy series has become one of the popular South Korean dramas among global viewers. "My Secret Romance" was identified as the number one Asian series on Drama Fever's Weekly Top 10 chart, according to a list posted on the said online streaming site.
Apart from "My Secret Romance," the romantic comedy series "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" and tvN's musical drama "The Liar and His Lover" also nabbed a spot on the said chart at second and third place, respectively. Other Asian series on Drama Fever's list includes the SBS variety show "Running Man" at number four, followed by the Chinese series "Surgeons," the MBC drama "Radiant Office," "Goblin," "Marriage Not Dating," "Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms" and the OCN crime-suspense series "Tunnel."
Meanwhile, the Sung Hoon and Song Ji Eun starrer's recent Drama Fever chart listing marked the second time that it topped the site's Weekly Top 10. Acquired by Warner Bros., the said video streaming website releases English-subbed licensed dramas, variety shows and movies from countries such as South Korea to an international audience across North America and South America. "My Secret Romance" was also the first South Korean series that Drama Fever co-produced, Yonhap News reported.
"My Secret Romance" tells the story of the conservative nutritionist Yoo Mi and the party animal turned serious CEO Jin Wook. Portrayed by Song Ji Eun and Sung Hoon, respectively, the two characters parted ways after a one-night stand but accidentally reunited three years later when Yoo Mi found herself working for Jin Wook as his personal nutritionist.
