TWICE's TT now holds the record for being the most viewed MV from any K-pop girl group. The epic dance hit has so far amassed 189 million views in a period of six months and is well on track to reaching 200 million views in a few months if its current trend continues.

According to a report by Popcrush, Twice's "TT" from its TWICEcoaster: Lane 1 has been viewed a total of 189 million times since it was uploaded late last year. "TT" displaced record holder Girl's Generation's 2012 track "I Got A Boy" which was also massively successful.

TWICE's feat unsurprisingly sparked a mix of reactions on the comment threads with members of their ONCE fandom celebrating the result of their collective efforts along with other fandoms who also support TWICE. There were also fans of Girl's Generation who were unhappy over the development.

TWICE's "TT" has enjoyed great success not only in Korea but also other parts of the world with K-pop fans dancing the signature choreography from video. Even international artist Shawn Mendez has been rumored to be a closet TWICE fan who breaks out "TT" symbol every chance he got.

TWICE's follow up "Knock Knock" from its TWICEcoaster: Lane 2 also proved its mettle as it went head to head with BTS' "Spring Day" and "Not Today." As TWICE beat "Spring Day's" record for most number of views for in 24 hours, BTS' ARMY fandom quickly recouped by getting back the record with "Not Today." ONCE made sure to continue viewing and streaming "TT" leading the MV to reach the milestone 100 million views on youtube last January and breaching 150 million views a few months after in March, All Kpop.

TWICE's new single entitled "Signal" is set for release on May 15. JYP Entertainment has already released teaser and individual posters featuring the girls with superpowers, which could be the concept of their new MV.
