‘Healer’ Actor Ji Chang Wook Teases Chemistry With ‘Suspicious Partner’ Co-Star Nam Ji Hyun
Avid Kdrama fans have been looking forward to the upcoming release of the new romantic comedy suspense series "Suspicious Partner." Recently, "Healer" star Ji Chang Wook shared his thoughts about his role and his onscreen chemistry with Nam Ji Hyun.
"Suspicious Partner" may be one of the highly-anticipated dramas from the South Korean network SBS. Many fans have been looking forward to the series' premiere since it will mark Ji Chang Wook's first foray into the romantic comedy genre. In a recent interview, the "Healer" actor admitted to being curious about the viewer's reaction to his role.
Ji Chang Wook commented that he has "a lot of anticipations" about the said SBS drama's romantic comedy suspense series, Soompi quoted the actor as saying. The actor also gushed over the script for "Suspicious Partner" and described it as "really entertaining."
"The K2" actor even talked about his chemistry with "Suspicious Partner" co-star Nam Ji Hyun. Despite the said drama serving as his first onscreen pairing with the "Shopaholic Louis" actress, Ji Chang Wook stated that he and his co-star were able to create "good chemistry" together that viewers will enjoy.
"Suspicious Partner" tells the story of the intelligent prosecutor Ji Wook and the newbie lawyer Bong Hee, as portrayed by Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun, respectively. A series of unfortunate and funny events will lead to the two characters working together to solve a murder case.
Meanwhile, latest photo stills released by SBS, as obtained by OSEN, showed Ji Chang Wook and Nam Ji Hyun's characters caught in a romantic yet comedic moment. The "Healer" star was photographed lying on the couch with his hands crossed over his chest, while the actress hovered above him. It appears that the actress' character Bong Hee might be drunk and trying to steal a kiss from the actor's Ji Wook.
"Suspicious Partner" will premiere on May 10 on SBS. New episodes will be released every Wednesday and Thursday.
