The iPad Air 2 is one of the best tablet ever released by the Apple. Aside from its good specs and features, it is also available in very cheap price. With its new updated version, the iPad, the tablet continues to render good quality to the consumers.
Despite of the good reviews and feedback, as the technology advances, the tablet has come to its end. Last March 21, 2017, the tablet's successor was launch, the iPad (7th generation), and the iPad Air 2 was also discontinued at the same time, along with the iPad Mini 2.
The new iPad 2017 is powered by Apple A9 processor chip with a 2GB of RAM. It has 32GB to 128GB internal storage. The new tablet device received mixed reviews from users worldwide, it was significantly praised for its performance, with reviewers asserting that the model is noticeably faster than its predecessor iPad Air 2 and older iPad models, and it also received positive reviews for its price and battery life. However, it was criticized for lacking a laminated and anti-reflective screen like we see on the previous models, and lack of support for Apple Pencil and attachable keyboards.
The new iPad 2017's introductory price in the US was the lowest ever for an iPad device. But aside from the critiques complains in the lack of external features, this new tablet device prove that it can continue the legacy of its predecessor.
A lot of new similar devices are coming, especially this year where two iPads are rumored to release, the iPad Pro 2 and iPad Pro Mini. Other features this mid-range tablet device has are; reliable 8.827mAh battery, 8MP rear camera and a PowerVR GT7600 GPU.
The Apple iPad Air 2 is successor is previously speculated as the iPad Air 3, but it is a bit surprise when it is called as the iPad 2017. Also, there has been confusion around its naming, being referred to as just "iPad" in marketing, but called the fifth-generation iPad in official statements and specifications sheets.
