A recent report by JP Morgan analysts, reveals that the new flagship device will come fitted with an enhanced earpiece that will help in drastically improving the surround sound of the iPhone 8. The said leak also suggests improved waterproofing with more resistance to splashes and dunks underwater.
JP Morgan analysts are analysts that track Apple's supply chain in the Asia-Pacific region. Previous leaks from the team have always proved themselves to be true, hence this one comes with a certain assurance regarding iPhone 8 rumors.
The analysts did not mention any acoustical improvements to the iPhone 8's earpiece, but given the increase in its surround sound quality, it is highly likely that the iPhone 8 will feature a better and louder speaker with richer acoustics than the iPhone 7.
