Min Hyo Rin Reveals Her Character In Upcoming TV Series 'Individualist Ms. Ji Young"
After taking a short break from work, South Korean actress Min Hyo Rin seemed to be ready to show off her acting prowess on the TV once again. During the press conference of her latest TV mini-drama series "Individualist Ms. Ji Young".
According to the actress as quoted by Soompi: "After reading through the script, I kept thinking of the character Ji Young and couldn't help but feel excited and melancholic at the same time. Since I took a break from acting for a while, I was worried if I would be able to act well again, but this drama gave me energy and strength."
She continued sharing an experience during the taping of the series: "There was this one scene where I barged in while Gong Myung was taking a shower, but we weren't satisfied with the scene so we splashed some more water on his body [and filmed it again]."
Set to premiere on May 8, "Individualist Ms. Ji Young" unfolds the story of a woman named Ji Young who refuse to rely on other people by cutting ties with them. Joining her in the said drama is singer and actor Gong Myung of the boy group 5urprise.
Born as Jung Eun Ran, Min began her entertainment career in 2006 as a model for the fashion brand Flapper. In 2009, she made her acting debut after being cast in the TV drama series "Triple" alongside Lee Jung Jae and Song Joong Ki.
Meanwhile, Mong has recently graced the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards held at COEX on May 3, Soompi reports. Also present during the event are well-known Hallyu stars including Park Bo Gum, EXO's D.O., Park Bo Young, Yoo Hae Jin, Park Shin Hye, and much more.
