According to spoilers, the father of Son Gohan will be paying his old friends a visit but their reunion is not expected to turn out just fine.
Speculations have it that the imminent "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 89 will show how Son Goku interacts with Roshi, who is believed to be in a curse. Fansided shared that the old acquaintance of the lead character could possibly be controlled by another villain using an amulet on his head.
