'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' News Update: 'Zombies Chronicles' DLC Launch Date Announced & 8 Remastered Maps
“Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” game developer Treyarch has officially announced the next DLC pack for the game and it is called “Zombies Chronicles”.
The DLC 5 announcement for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” was made by Treyarch's Jason Blundell and joined by YouTuber JCbackfire for a chat. Blundell has confirmed that “Zombies Chronicles” DLC will arrive in May 16 for PlayStation 4 with an Xbox One release to follow.
“Zombies Chronicles” was first spotted on the ESRB Rating Board website. However, it was removed right away after attracting massive attention from the fans. This new update suggests that it will most probably launch as a standalone release as well as a part of “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” Game of the Year Edition.
According to the DLC 5, “Zombies Chronicles” will include eight remastered maps from “Call of Duty: World at War”, “Call of Duty: Black Ops”, and “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2”. There will be three maps from“Call of Duty: World at War” including Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt and Shi No Numa. “Call of Duty: Black Ops” will include 4 maps composing Kino Der Toten, Ascension, Shangri-la and Moon. Lastly, “Call of Duty: Black Ops II” will contribute the Origins map from “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2”.
Moreover, “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” DLC 5 will include Dempsey and Nikolai Calling Cards, Zombies Heroes Animated Calling Cards, and Limited Edition Camouflage Tin Can.
“Call of Duty Black Ops 3: Zombies Chronicles” will be a bundled game that will include Black Ops 3 game. In addition, there will be four past Zombies DLC and the fifth piece of DLC, “Zombies Chronicles.”
As for the price of “Call of Duty Black Ops 3: Zombies Chronicles”, there is no details about it. Treyarch will give more details during a livestream on May 8.
