Samsung’s Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus and Galaxy Note 8 will rival Apple’s iPhones as the top sellers this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and the deals are even better.

Google Pixel 2017 devices have been the subject of rumors for a long time. With the recent leak that surfaced on the Internet, it seems that these Pixel branded devices might hit the store shelves in the 4th quarter of 2017 with codenames Walleye, Muskie, and Taimen.

Google Pixel 2017 Devices Now Being Geared Up

Based on reports, Taimen is much bigger compared to Walleye and Muskie - the successors of Pixel XL and Pixel devices respectively. It is also likely that Taimen comes as a tablet or a large smartphone, which means the device may be the first tablet from Google since the 2015 Pixel C. There are also speculations that Taimen could be the real successor of Motorola Nexus 6 given the integration of a larger touchscreen.

Google Pixel 2017 smartphones are also expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor. It is worth noting that SD 835 is the latest offering from Qualcomm that was released alongside Samsung Galaxy S8 as well as the Samsung Galaxy S8+ last month. Meantime, Google is rumored to have partnered with HTC to manufacture the Google Pixel smartphones just like what it has done to the original two Pixel handsets, Tech Crunch reported.

Google Pixel 2017 Handsets May Come Expensive

Google Pixel 2017 devices are expected to come with an expensive price given the fact that a top of the range SD 835 processor will be used. Reports also suggest that the codenames Taimen, Muskie, and Walleye indicate confirmation of the upcoming devices, considering that the tech giant has always applied fish or aquatic mammals to brand and as hints to its smartphones. That said, the rumors and leaks about this year's Google Pixel 2017 handsets may hold some truth, including the likely weight - Taimen is larger by up to 100 kg while Walleye is believed to be up to 11kg and Muskie could be up to 17kg, Forbes reported.
