Can the Galaxy Note 8 kill the iPhone Edition?

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is rumored to likely be launched at the annual electronics trade show in Berlin held every September. Incidentally, IFA Executive Director Jens Heithecker also believes that the event will be the right place for the highly anticipated device. Meantime, previous leaks reveal what to expect from the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

Samsung Galaxy Note May Be Presented In IFA Event

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy  Note 8 will likely launch during the IFA event as Heithecker himself approves of this. Regardless of where the launch will take place, the specs and features of Note 8 will still be the focus of attention.

Other features of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 include a 6.8-inch Super AMOLED display with 1440 x 2960 QHD+ resolution that is behind Gorilla Glass 5 with proximity and light sensor, fingerprint and iris scanner, and a 3000mAh battery. Under the hood, the new smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC or an Exynos 8995 chipset - depending on where the phablet will be bought, an Adreno 540 GPU, octa-core 2350 MHZ processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage, Trusted Reviews reported.

Leaks Suggest Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Will Not Have Dual Cameras

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will unlikely come with dual cameras, according to a Chinese leaker. Contrary to earlier reports that the upcoming phablet will debut with two rear lenses, the leak claims that the device would instead feature a single-lens back camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 leak also reveal that the South Korean manufacturer is unsure if the dual-camera technology will be good enough for the Note series or the Galaxy S series. If proven true, tech enthusiasts believe that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 may look less impressive compared to Galaxy C and Galaxy X when it comes to the camera technology, Yahoo reported.
