According to the official spoilers from "Designated Survivor" Season 1, Episode 20, journalist Abe Leonard's latest story is published and it coincides with President Kirkman's international summit. The explosive story seems to derail the international summit throwing off the President. Meanwhile, Agent Hannah Wells unravel the next target of the conspiracy scheme.
Investigative journalist returned from the Middle East in "Designated Survivor" Season 1, Episode 18 and he met Al-Sakar's commander who told him that they are not behind the Capitol bombing. When he came back to Washington D.C., he gave a heads up to Seth Wright and asked for a comment on the same. However, it looks like Leonard went ahead and published the article jeopardizing the upcoming summit.
