Another Chinese phone maker - OnePlus has been known to release their next premium handset - the OnePlus 5. The camera attributes of the upcoming smartphone are currently making quite a buzz as alleged snapshots taken by the yet to be announced phone has been making rounds online.

Features and internal specifications of the OnePlus 5 are still difficult to come by. However, the blog site True-Tech has recently released four snapshots as it claims that these were taken using the upcoming handset.

The blog added that the images came from a reliable source that has been with them for quite some time now. The site came up with such assumption as it suggested that the handset used dons the codename OnePlus A5000. The company does not have any recollection of devising a smartphone being dubbed like that in the past. Hence, it was then speculated that the phone used in taking those pictures was no other than the OnePlus 5.

Fans are advised though to have their salt shakers ready and give some extra dashes of salt onto it. As per the leaked images, it includes a couple of greenery shots, a photo of what could be a leather cover, and a chipped off paint job from a wooden surface.

Albeit the insufficiency of information, it is rumored that the OnePlus 5 will sport a 5.5-inch optic AMOLED display with a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution. The screen will be further buffed with a Gorilla Glass 5 from Corning.

As for its camera features, the OnePlus 5 is said to boast an impressive 23 and 16-megapixel back and selfie shooter respectively with the former donning phase and face detection, autofocus, GEO-tagging, panorama, and HDR. Its video element will have 2160 pixels at speeds of 30 frames per second (fps).

Furthermore, it is likely that the OnePlus 5 will have an octa-core Snapdragon 835 chipset and an Adreno 540 GPU both from Qualcomm. An Android Nougat (ver. 7.1.1) is also pretty much expected from the handset once it comes out in the open, according to GSMArena. At the moment, the company remains mum about the device's release date. Nonetheless, if it were to base OnePlus' whim, it is probable that the handset might come out this summer. In the meantime, watch a video about the smartphone here:
