‘The Winds of Winter’ Release Date, News & Update: George RR Martin & Neil Gaiman Finishing Book Together? June 2017 Launch Confirmed?

Millions of fans are now stoked for the upcoming release of "The Winds of Winter" novel. Now, new reports are claiming that George RR Martin is currently working along with Neil Gaiman to finish the much-awaited sixth installment of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series.

Poor Primadonna has previously claimed that "The Winds of Winter" book could possibly face another delay after George RR Martin launched the StageCoach Foundation. According to the news outlet, the New Mexican writer has decided to establish an organization that would support local filmmakers.

Through the StageCoach foundation, the young filmmakers would have a chance to work with some of the best directors and production workers in Hollywood. George RR Martin reportedly expects the newly-launched organization to help uplift the economy of "The Winds of Winter" author's hometown -- Sta. Fe, New Mexico.

"So much to do. And the days go by so quickly. I love my work, all my work, all my projects, all my children, but sometimes it seems as if the harder I work, the further behind I get," George RR Martin has divulged. "Maybe things will calm down soon. But I am not holding my breath," "The Winds of Winter" author went on.

Because of this, fans who have been patiently waiting for the upcoming book cannot help but speculate that "The Winds of Winter" release will be delayed anew. There are even claims saying that George RR Martin is currently working with another writer in the person of Neil Gaiman.

George RR Martin would not be having a hard time finishing "The Winds of Winter" if Neil Gaiman is, indeed, helping him. In fact, there have been rumors saying that the much-awaited sixth installment of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" will be released this year.

In his LiveJournal entry, George RR Martin has hinted fans that "The Winds of Winter" is going to be released this year. However, up until now, no confirmed date has been revealed despite the reports that it is going to be launched in June 2017.
