Taylor Swift Counter Sues David Mueller; Money To Go To Charity Should Pop Star Win The Case
Taylor swift filed a counter suit against Denver radio host, David Mueller; who allegedly groped the pop superstar, according to USA Today.
Mueller sued swift in September, after the radio host claimed he lost his job at KYGO radio.
David claims he was falsely accused by a member of Swift's security team of groping the singer's buttocks backstage. David has also been banned from Taylor's concerts.
The incident happened backstage during Swift's concert at the Pepsi Center June of 2013.
David Mueller has not worked as a radio personality since 2006. He has been let go twice from radio jobs, revealed by People who was able to access the countersuit.
According to the papers, David admitted that Taylor Swift was groped; However, not by him but by Eddie Haskell, his superior at KYGO.
"Ms. Swift knows exactly who committed the assault - it was Mueller - and she is not confused in the slightest about whether her long-term business acquaintance, Mr. Haskell, was the culprit," stated on the countersuit.
"Resolution of this Counterclaim will demonstrate that Mueller alone was the perpetrator of the humiliating and wrongful conduct targeted against Ms. Swift, and will serve as an example to other women who may resist publicly reliving similar outrageous and humiliating acts."
The documents claim that David and his girlfriend were in attendance at the meet and greet with the "Bad Blood" singer.
Mueller intentionally lifted the superstar's skirt, and "groped with his hand an intimate part of her body in an inappropriate manner, against her will, and without her permission." a statement seen on Taylor's counter suit.
Taylor Swift says that any amount she receives from damages will be donated to charity; and organizations dedicated to women who are victims of and are being protected from personal disregard and sexual assault. The singer has requested for a jury trial.
